Corvera, situated in the heart of Asturias, is in close proximity to the coast, the airport, and the motorway, providing quick connections to the main urban centres of the region. Set in a rural environment, it offers all essential services.

Corvera is internationally known, especially in the world of sport, for the Trasona Reservoir and its Canoeing and Rowing Sports Technification Centre. In this unique and beautiful spot, half the world’s sporting achievements and medals have been sealed in different competitions and championships, mainly linked to the sports of canoeing and rowing. Trasona/Tresona is a symbol of the great sporting tradition of this municipality, very close to the coast, which delights visitors with places such as the Senda del Agua, ideal for fans of ‘green’ trekking and cycle tourism, or the Furta Wetland. In addition, those who enjoy religious art should not miss the church of Santa María de Solís, of pre-Romanesque origin and therefore very Asturian.

Corvera therefore provides a healthy experience for those who come to this part of Asturias, which can be rounded off with the relaxation of a spa session or a round of golf in one of the council’s hotel complexes, or tasting Asturian cuisine.
