Sea and mountains throughout the municipality

A peaceful environment and quality services.

Whichever way you look at Caravia, you will discover treasures. To the north, the Cantabrian Sea, which bathes the coast in this council in the form of paradisiacal beaches such as Arenal de Morís or La Espasa, which in addition to an impressive landscape of green, mountains and beach, have fine, pleasant sand and magnificent waves for surfing, so much so that Arenal de Morís is already a classic for holding surfing championships and La Espasa has the perfect wave for the good schools of this sport.

If we look to the south, the Sierra del Sueve, which turns this area of Caravia into a Natural Park where the biodiversity of both flora and fauna is a great attraction for tourists and researchers. And if we look to the ground, Caravia treasures in its subsoil one of the most important reserves in the world of fluorite or fluorospar whose crystalline appearance is of great beauty and is coveted by the most demanding collectors… and from the abundant Indian and palatial architecture of this territory it is frankly easy to look up at a sky that is often very blue, contrasting with the green of its meadows and mountains, and once a year tinged by the fire of the bonfire of San Juan on the beach of La Espasa.
